Ungar: There is no Paleolithic diet. Still, I think these are valuable diets for the reason that they remind us what we must not be eating. Our ancestors didn't have the processed foods we have today. To say what we should be eating is more challenging, but I can tell you with out a shadow of a doubt that australopiths didn't eat corn dogs and drink milkshakes.
